Event Rules
All participants must follow Finnish law during the event. The organizers enforce the following rules to ensure a safe, fun, and fair LAN experience.
Prohibited Items
- Any weapons capable of harming people
- Alcohol or illegal drugs
- Explosives
Alcohol and Smoking
Participants may not consume or possess alcohol or intoxicants at the venue. Anyone intoxicated will be asked to leave, and intoxicated minors will be reported to the police. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas, including e-cigarettes. Use the provided ashtrays.
Household Appliances
Do not connect high-power devices to your PC spot, such as coffee makers, microwaves, drills, welding machines, hair dryers, or pizza ovens. You may use the shared microwave available for general purposes.
Damaging the Venue
Participants must not damage or deface the venue, for example by sticking stickers on walls. Anyone causing damage is responsible for compensation, which may be deducted from prize pools.
Network Rules
The following activities are prohibited on the network:
- Running a DHCP server
- Disrupting network traffic
- Monitoring traffic other than that originating from or destined to your own computer
- Connecting extra devices to the LAN (switches, firewalls, etc.)
- Downloading or distributing copyrighted material or content that is illegal under Finnish law
Pornography and Violence
Do not view or share pornographic, extremely violent, or offensive content in public. Remember that others around you might see what is on your screen.
Sleeping Rules
Sleep only in designated areas. You may rest at your PC spot in a seated or upright position if it does not disturb others. Sleeping on the floor near your PC spot is not allowed.
Other Rules
Organizers are not responsible for equipment failures due to power fluctuations. They may remove participants from the venue at their discretion. Ticket fees are non-refundable. Participants are liable for any damage they cause.
